As we grow, we’re seeing that many fosters and adopters are overwhelmed with the adjustment period that comes with bringing home a new dog. It’s an exciting time for you, but it can feel scary and overwhelming for them. Settling in during those first few days, weeks, and months takes patience.

We’re sharing a helpful graphic created by another rescue with some guidance for this transition. And please, before you feel discouraged or consider giving up, reach out to the rescue you got your dog from. They want to help and can guide you through the bumps along the way.
